Graph y = 6x − 4
How would you like to do this? Ordered pairs or to just use that slope=6 and y=intercept=(0,-4)?
I'm not sure, I need to plot 2 points on a graph
So sounds like you want to use ordered pairs I guess.
I mean we can still find two points by using the y-intercept and the slope.
But see it what y is when you plug in values for x. Plug in 0 for x and see what y is. Plug in 1 for x and see what y is.
y=-4 y=2?
Yes so we have ordered pairs (0,-4) and (1,2) Can you plot these points on a graph?
yes, thank you for your help! I can't believe I never knew of this site!
So you know to connect those dots after plotting them You should get a fancy line :p
lol a fancy line it is
Yea. I mean lines are pretty simple. Nothing fancy about it. I was just trying to use a fun adjective.
do you know if this site is always free, or if eventually you'll need to pay a fee?
Always free.
I assume it will remain free. It has always been free in the past. I think the goal is to keep it free. However, this is a question for an admin like @thomaster . I think thomaster is the community manager if I'm not mistaken. I could be wrong.
can i ask another question for a different problem in this post, or should i ask another question
It will always remain free, however you can support OpenStudy by subscribing (current monthly fee is $10 but there will be different "subscription packets" in the future for different prices) Also @myininaya I'm not an admin :P
