How do I find 0 rounded to the nearest whole degree? http://static.k12.com/eli/bb/598/-1/0/2_40666_55141/-1/dc80263c07e2d5e4a7c782b8502ddce71aae8595/media/f71e02d46752ddab844fbb50092e95558a6e68a2/mediaasset_1304967_1.png
tan theta = AC/BC = 8/20 = 2/5 theta = arctan(2/5) Calculate to get theta. :) Okay?
you need a calculator you also need to know what trig function to use. If that is not totally obvious, when you have time, watch http://www.khanacademy.org/math/trigonometry/basic-trigonometry/basic_trig_ratios/v/basic-trigonometry
you can type into google atan(8/20) in degrees= (if you don't say "in degrees" the answer will be in radians) you have to round to the nearest whole degree. That means if the number in the tenths place is 5 or bigger round up.
