In the process of solving an equation, a student noticed that only integers remained on each side of the equation. The student concluded that the equation must have no solution. Is the student correct?

no.....if the solution was 2 = 3, then there is no solution. However, if the solution were 3 = 3, then there would be infinite solutions.
