OpenStudy (jacobbenvenutty):

Eric reflected parallelogram ABCD across the x-axis. If angle A is 125° and angle B is 55°, what is the degree measurement of angle A'?

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

Is that worded correctly? Otherwise the answer is very easy: Angle A = 125°

OpenStudy (jacobbenvenutty):

Yea its worded corectly.... i thought the same thing you did. thats why i posted he question just to see if i was reading it wrong

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

I don't know what a reflected parallelogram is. Do you think that has something to do with it?

OpenStudy (jacobbenvenutty):

All a parallelogram is is a 4 sided flat shape with straight sides where opposite sides are parallel.

OpenStudy (jacobbenvenutty):

So i am pretty sure it doesnt effect the answer

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

Oh I know what a regular parallelogram is, but the question states: ********************************************************** Eric reflected parallelogram ABCD across the x-axis ********************************************************* What the heck do they mean?

OpenStudy (jacobbenvenutty):

There was no picture that came with the question but what im pretty sure they are saying is that the parallelogram or "figure" which we know has four sides (ABCD) is being reflected over the x- axis on a (cordinated plane) Ex: | Y-axis | | --------------- X-axis | | |

OpenStudy (jacobbenvenutty):

personally i dont know why that has anything to do with degrees but thats the question

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

Well, that's about all I can think of. It is worded very badly. And they didn't include a drawing? Really bad.

OpenStudy (jacobbenvenutty):

Right!?

OpenStudy (jacobbenvenutty):

ill tell you if i get it right on the test

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

Well guess I'll leave this question. That would be interesting if it appears exactly that way on the test.

OpenStudy (jacobbenvenutty):

This is the test!

OpenStudy (jacobbenvenutty):

thats whats shocking

OpenStudy (jacobbenvenutty):

the 125 deg. was right.
