When we often interrupt a person who's speaking to us, we're likely to give the impression that A. we're really interested in what the speaker is saying. B. we aren't really listening to what the speaker is saying. C. we're knowledgeable about the topic of discussion. D. we want to hear more about the topic being discussed.

It depends on what they are talking about really. If I had to chose, i'd say B. I see this happen a lot, one person is talking about their day and the next person just interrupts them about a different topic.
