I am just a little confused with this question: So, in a diploid organism, I have to list all of the possible homozygous genotypes and heterozygous genotypes for a: 1) a gene with two alleles called T and t 2) a gene with three alleles called A1, A2 and A3 For the first one, I was thinking it may be something like: -possible homozygous: TT and tt -possible heterozygous: Tt and tT I am not so sure with that second one though. May someone please lend me some assistance? Thank you!

OpenStudy (shrutipande9):

u r right with the homozygous one....in heterozygote the order of the allele doesnt matter bcuz u get only 1 phenotype if u write tT or Tt. conventionally the dominant allele is written first. so u get only 1 combination ie Tt.
