4+m/8=3/4

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

Are you asked to solve for m? If so, then you want to leave only m on the left side. So you will subtract both sides with 4 and multiply by 8. What do you get?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

M=2 First you should multiply both sides by 8. After that, you should have 4+m=6 because 3 times 2=6 Subtract 4 from both sides. Then u should have m=2

Why have you posted the same question 3 times, and ignored the help I tried to give you here: http://openstudy.com/users/james_m#/updates/5247452ce4b0b061bee974a0 If you don't understand something that I said, ask questions.... that's how you'll learn. If you're just shopping around for someone to hand you the answer, that is against site rules and not going to help you learn anything.

OpenStudy (debbieg):

Well, welcome to Open Study. You can learn a lot here, but you have to put in some effort. OpenStudy values the Learning process - not the ‘Give you an answer’ process. Don’t post only answers - guide the asker to a solution. http://openstudy.com/code-of-conduct If you had the thread open in your window, it usually won't give you a notification. But even so, you should not repost the same question multiple times. Look at your original post, check it for replies, and if you haven't gotten any help, you can "bump" it.
