OpenStudy (anonymous):

please just answer my question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No because your question is the title of a 2000 word essay which we aren't going to do for you. If you want a better understanding then you should ask for a brief outline.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is this for me allosaur?

OpenStudy (opcode):

You topic is quite large perhaps narrow down what you want to know so I can help you. (I have also attached a pdf for you to look at, it contains some information about the reformation.)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i want to know what struck the catholics and the protestants while the reformations were going on

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What struck them? Probably swords and other melee weapons.

OpenStudy (opcode):

By saying 'what struck' do you mean problems they encountered? I can say for one thing the printing press had a major effect on the spreading of the reformation.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

However was the 95 theses part of the catholic or the protestant reformation or neither

OpenStudy (opcode):

Martin Luther was the creator of the ninety-five theses, Martin Luther also lead the protestant reformation. Later on the ninety-five theses became the building blocks of the Protestant Reformation.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thank you but did it do anything for the counter reformation

OpenStudy (opcode):

Yes, quite a lot actually. Martin Luther's ninety five theses is what started the counter reformation. Even the dramatic reforms to the Catholic Church where due to Martin Luter's ninety five theses. (Big impact for a list is it not :P.)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

OpenStudy (kenljw):

Truthfully there was only really one protest by King Henry the III, in his rejecting Roman Catholicism he created an identical one know as the Church of England, Anglican, or Episcopal. Initially they were identical except an elected Pope was replace by the Arch Duke of Canterbury appointed the monarch.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

please rephrase im sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so you are saying he created the Anglican and Episcopal?

OpenStudy (kenljw):

The Episcopal Church is actually the Church of England in the US

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (kenljw):

The Presbyterian Church is the Church of Scotland.
