Write an inequality for the graph.

@Hero

hero (hero):

Okay, so basically, your inequality needs to have the form \(y \ge a|x - h| + k\) Where\((h,k)\) is the vertex of the absolute value inequality.

hero (hero):

You can find \(a\) by inserting another point from the graph of the the absolute value. The point has to be on the intersecting lines though.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got y=|x-5|+2

hero (hero):

It's supposed to be an inequality. Also, did you find the value of \(a\) ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no. i can usually find the graph for the inequality not create one

hero (hero):

(0,6) is probably a good point to use to find \(a\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks, i have to go now.
