(Sine Law)Is the ambiguous case only used on the angle you just found? For example, if I had two solutions for a triangle, found an angle for Case 1, is that my new reference angle?
I'm not sure. Would you post the actual ambiguous case problem that caused you to post this question? Thanks.
Ok, umm give me a sec

And we're solving for the bottom side
I'm wondering which side would be the reference angle
which angle sorry
Would it be 35, or the ones that I find after that?
@Homeworksucks Please post the work you have done on this problem so far.
So I figured that there would be two solutions, because \[a >b \sin(A)\]
And then found the angle adjacent to 35 to be 58 degrees
Then subtracted the angles by 180 to find the other one
87 degrees,
Then found the bottom side using the sine law to 522.3
My question is, how do I know which one to consider as the obtuse angle when finding the case 2 triangle?
Let me see what I get. Hold on.
My first pass at the problem -- 2 triangles First: 52.8 degrees, 92.19 degrees, and 627.18 for the side Second: 127.19 degrees, 17.81 degrees, and 191.97 for the side
