What is perpendicular to the y-axis and passes through (-2,5)? HELP!!!
Do you have a graph
graphing paper for instance
No, that is all it said..
The y axis is perpendicular to the x axis so the answer you want must be parallel with the x-axis. Any line parallel with the x axis does not vary with changing x. This means it has a slope (or gradient of 0). In the form given this means m=0. So you know: y = b To find b take the point given (-2,5). As the line passes through this point you know: 5 = b. So you line is y=5. Hope that helps.
alright well get a sheat of paper and draw the Y and X axis you know the one taht looks like a giant pluss
+ <
then plot your numbers on there from one to five
We need not need a graph sheet here although we can do it it with that but it takes more time but @DUDE..IM..A..DUCK is not incorrect but do it unless u have lots of time
Btw Welcome to OS phantom :D
i'm trying to get him use to doing it step by step so he understands it a bit better
K
Ok Thank you!!! You are the bomb diggity!!!
lol , so did you plot your numbers on the Y and X axis ?
OMG ehat does that mean LOL "BOMB DIGGITY"
what*
luls
it means that is amazing
"that is amazing , that is awesome" etc
|dw:1381233481988:dw| it should look something like this
That is lovely!! That is what I got!!!
:D yep so know you plot your numbers and see what is perpendicular to them :D
mwauahla you have an answer :D
YAY!!!
woop , yourewelcome :D
