please help! What is the equation of the following line written in slope-intercept form? https://media.glynlyon.com/g_alg01_2013/3/78b.gif y = 5x y = -5x y = 5/x

Well, you know it's going to be a positive slope because it's going up to the right. So the second answer is automatically out. Now to find the slope. y=mx+b (slope intercept equation) m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1) so... m=(5-(-5))/(1-(-1))=-10/-2=5 Now plug the numbers you know into the slope intercept equation. Pick one set of the coordinates. 5=5*1+b 5=5+b 5-5=5-5+b 0=b Therefore y=5x+0 or y=5x

I agree :)
