OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

What problem do you want to understand?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

f(g(1/2) \[f(x)=\sqrt[3]{x+1}\] \[g(x)=4x ^{2}-x\] found g(1/2) is still 1/2 to plug back in got \[\sqrt[3]{\frac{ 1 }{ 2 }}+1\] which is then \[\sqrt[3]{\frac{ 3 }{ 2 }}\] howerver the book says \[\frac{ \sqrt[3]{12} }{ 2 }\]

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

|dw:1381716367320:dw| That is your answer, and it is invalid you have to remove a radical from the denominator. More help?

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

Cneck your work again, are you sure your answer is right? I don't... esp that the book says...

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

Hold, on actually maybe!

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):
