Complement of C, C' = {-5,-4,-3,-2,-1,4,5}, i.e. everything in the universal set that is not in C

A U C' is the combination of everything in A and C'..you know what A is and you know what C' is (see above)..so put it together in one set

Poorly or dubious questions should not be answered. When assessing students, the question should be extremely clear or dont ask the question.

OK...so now we know it is intersection..so find everything in C and A...then see whats common in that big set and with A.
