Question 1.1. What is the first consecutive even integer that follows –12? (Points : 1) –14 –10 –11 –13

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what's yo' guess?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

either -10 or -14?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yah - and saying it's a 'following consecutive' even integer means +2 from the last, so -12 + 2

OpenStudy (radar):

"follows" in which direction.....more negative or in positive direction???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah, it's poorly worded :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah thats why I am havin a problem. I don't get it

OpenStudy (radar):

I hate it when a poorly worded question is presented, it is difficult enough when it is clearly worded!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think by saying "consecutive" they're trying to imply positive change

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but that's a shot in the dark :P

OpenStudy (radar):

You may be right, is there another similar worded or an example that would clear it up.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I really hate it to

OpenStudy (anonymous):

let me see if I can find anything

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I am not seeing anything for it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh it is was meanin positive

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it was -10

OpenStudy (radar):

yes, and @AllTehMaffs was correct in the assumption.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hooray ^_^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you so much @AllTehMaffs and @radar
