where are you stuck at or are you looking to check your answer?

OpenStudy (snowfire):

You want to get all x terms by themselves on one side to solve for it. There is only one x term (4x), so what do you want to do first to accomplish that?

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

to solve for x, you want the x value on one side alone in 4x + 2y = 5 then 2y is crowding the x so the first step would be to move the 2y to get x by itself
