HELP!! Which of these pairs of variables would you expect to be represented by a scatterplot that shows no correlation? A. The number of people who pay to see a film and the amount of money earned by the film. B. The amount of money spent to make a film and the number of people who pay to see it. C. The number of people who pay to see the 8:00 viewing of a film and the number of empty seats in that theater. D. The length of a film in minutes and the number of times that it can be screened in a particular theater each day.

wouldnt my answer be c?

Directrix (directrix):

No correlation means that there is no association or relationship between the two variables. Let me think about these options. I am thinking that C is not correct because there would be a negative association between the number of people who are at the 8 pm showing and the number of empty seats at that time. As the number of people increases, the number of empty seats decreases.
