OpenStudy (shrutipande9):

u know that females have 2 X chromosomes and males ahve 1X and 1 Y?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, yes i do

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@shrutipande9 Ma'am Would it be ''B''? :P My guess..lol

OpenStudy (shrutipande9):

so if u hv 1 defective trait in the X chromosome. then males wud have only 1X so the defective trait has 2 be expressed. but in females 2X so to express this defective trait both the X need 2 have this. and the chances of having both X carying defective trait is rare as compared to 1 carrrying the defective trait....

OpenStudy (shrutipande9):

i guess u r rite @Ryaan the options are confusing but i am sure about the reason as to y this happens...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is it B? It's the one that sounds like the right answer to me

OpenStudy (shrutipande9):

the explanation is for recessive trait.....yes B sounds good 2 me..

Okie Dokie thank you both!
