Prove ΔABC ≅ ΔGFE.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Without any given information about the triangles/diagram, you cannot prove them congruent.

In the figure below, ∠ DEC ≅ DCE, ∠ B ≅ ∠ F, and . Point C is the point of intersection between and while point E is the point of intersection between and

"PLEASE" Prove ΔABC ≅ ΔGFE. Where have the manners gone???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Please prove :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh no u guys left :P

@Easyaspi314

The way you worded the question in your "Given", you cannot prove the triangles congruent. Unless you meant to say that "C is the midpoint of BD and E is the midpoint of DF." Check your text with the exact wording.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In the figure below, ∠ DEC ≅ DCE, ∠ B ≅ ∠ F, and DF = BD . Point C is the point of intersection between AG and BD while point E is the point of intersection between AG and DF .

I liked your response. I thought it was funny that's all :) Id send a message but it wont send for some reason. @Easyaspi314

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The language that C is the point of intersection between AG and BD does NOT imply that C acts as a midpoint. All what that means is that C is at the inetrsection of two line segments. A point of intersection is not neccesarily a midpoint. So I will opt out not to respond to this porrly worded question.

poorly*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok but thats exactly how my school worded it.

OpenStudy (xmoses1):

Well obviously your school is incorrect!!! lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wouldnt be the first time.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Go back to your school and tell them what I said. If they deduct any credit for this problem, I will defend you. Or have your teacher e-mail me. This is mathematics. And we must be precise in a question, if we want a student to respond. I think I know what your teacher meant, but we must word a question correctly.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's not your fault.

Thank you Easyaspi314

You're very welcome.
