Which probability tool would not be an appropriate choice for a simulation that models an action that has four possible outcomes?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what about a dice?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a.a standard die b.a standard deck of cards c.a random number generator d.a spinner with equal sections labeled A, B, C, D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

b, c and d each would work just fine.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ty.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for b, you can use each of the 4 suits to represent 1 outcome each. for a random number generator you can just divide the results in 4 equal parts. and a spinner labeled ABCD is a dead giveaway.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but there's no way you can get 4 equally likely outcomes on a 6 sided die. a 12 sided die would do fine though.

dice is plural of die btw, so a single die, two dice. many people don't know that. maybe that's what threw you off?
