Help please? Eldon received a gift card for $95 to a movie theater. He may use the gift card for either admission tickets or snacks. Tickets cost $9.50 and his favorite snack costs $4.25. If he wants to use his gift card for at least 17 individual purchases, which is a combination of tickets and snacks Eldon may purchase? 5 tickets and 10 snacks 7 tickets and 9 snacks 6 tickets and 11 snacks 4 tickets and 13 snacks

17 individual purchases. The first choice has only 15 purchases (5 + 10) so that is out. The other three are all 17 purchases. To find out which one: Multiply the number of tickets in each choice by the prize of a ticket. Multiply the number of snacks in each choice by the prize of a snack. Add them up. See if the total exceeds $95. If it does it is out too. By elimination you can find the correct answer.
