Which three lengths could be the lengths of the sides of a triangle? 8 cm, 23 cm, 11 cm 9 cm, 15 cm, 22 cm 13 cm, 5 cm, 18 cm 21 cm, 7 cm, 7 cm

The sum of two sides must be greater than the third side. We did this. If you understand that statement, then you should tell me what the answer is.

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

The Triangle Inequality Theorem states that for 3 lines to form a triangle, the longest side must be shorter than the sum of the other 2 sides. When stated this way, only 1 test has to be done instead of three.

hmm 8 cm, 23 cm, 11 cm?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

No you did not have the correct answer.

OpenStudy (wolf1728):
