General Physics I, Can I get some help solving this ? http://screencast.com/t/C9k9wADf
divide by 1000 i think
cm is centimeter and ps I believe is picosecond nm is nanometer fs is femtosecond the funny looking u is micrometer and ns is nanosecond use dimensional analysis right now you have 30000000 meters/second you need to be able to cancel the meters when converting to centimeter identify how many cm are there in a meter (100). And then how many picoseconds are there in a second (10^12) so example would be 30000000 m/s x 100cm/1m x 1s/1000000000000 and then do the same for nm/fs as well as micrometer/nanosecond
3x10^7 * 10^9/10^6 ?
I just want to solve the very last one
how many nanometers are there in a meter? the nano goes on top and meter goes on bottom when doing a dimensional analysis. and the next to it would be how many femtoseconds are there in a second. the femto goes on bottom and the second goes on top things get canceled out in their m/s form
I am trying to solve the third

;o
micrometer/nanosecond
So 10^9/10^6 , yes or no ?
yes
thank you
