s=-83
OpenStudy (selrachcw95):
I know u have to distribute it some how
OpenStudy (anonymous):
you want to multiply the equation by -1 to make s positive
OpenStudy (selrachcw95):

:)
OpenStudy (selrachcw95):
Is that my final ansur?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
To get a variable by itself, you need to do the opposite of what it is doing. If it is multiplied, you divide if it is add, you subtract and so forth. In this problem it is showing multiplication, so you divide
OpenStudy (cggurumanjunath):
yes
OpenStudy (selrachcw95):
Wait wait wait
it wants me to solve the variables.Lol!!!

yes z=-7
OpenStudy (cggurumanjunath):
you are correct @selrachcw95
OpenStudy (cggurumanjunath):
variable is z here .
OpenStudy (selrachcw95):
it disagrees.

Solve for '-s'
this is obviously a joke.
OpenStudy (selrachcw95):
Nvm I was wrong anyways here is the next 1. I want to do it independently and get help when needed.
OpenStudy (cggurumanjunath):
good
OpenStudy (cggurumanjunath):
go ahead !

OpenStudy (selrachcw95):
t's the problem I am gonna try
OpenStudy (selrachcw95):
I would subtract -5y from the -5y and the -4y correct?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
it might be easier to add 5y to both sides
OpenStudy (cggurumanjunath):
you can either add 5y on both sides or add 4y on both sides.
OpenStudy (cggurumanjunath):
you have to go with opposite sign of the given problem !

like I said before, if you want to move something to the other side of the equal sign, you do the opposite. If it is adding, you subtract and so forth.
OpenStudy (selrachcw95):
Ok so hang on I am going to draw this as I am understanding it. :D
