How do i find values for solutions that have alredy been graphed

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you give an example as to what you need?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have a homwork page and it says to give approximate values for the solutions to the equation and lable the vertex

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you give a graph or diagram?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Generally, the solutions is where the graph intersects the x-axis.

no the page was printed i just want to know what i have to do with the graph aka can i have an example

x = -2 and x = 4 are the 2 places where the graph intersects the x-axis, so x = -2 and x = 4 are solutions to the equation when set equal to 0. You can clearly see the vertex (or turning point).

ok thank you
