The function f(x) = 16(5)x represents the growth of a bee population every year in a remote swamp. Jennifer wants to manipulate the formula to an equivalent form that calculates two times a year, not just once a year. Which function is correct for Jennifer's purpose, and what is the new growth rate?
dividde by 2? maybe?
8(5)x
8(5)^2x?
whateve it is divide the whole thing by 2 i suppose :)
or i could be wrong
I think you leave it the same lol :P
ooo okay :3 thank you
wait for second opinion tho
I feel it is a trick question
haha i feel like all math is a trick
well lets play around with it 16(5)^2(1)=400 for 1 year in original eq 16(5)^2(x) 16(5)^2(2*1/2)=400 for 1 year in modified equation 16(5)^2(x*1/2) i think your new function should be this but now your have units of half years instead of years. 16(5)^2(x*1/2)
