Is there a method to figure it out ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ehuman is there a method to find it out

OpenStudy (anonymous):

not a hard fast method, you just have to analyse the problem. n^2 is correct. because you insert which ever n you want to examine and it will return the proper value. It is not asking for a formula to predict terms in a given range, so n^2 satisfies the question.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if it asks for the "next" term then your (n+1)^2 satisfies it.

thank u !

you bet
