What are some questions that can help you analyze your audience when preparing your speech presentation? (Choose all that apply.) A. At what point in the event will I be delivering my speech? B. How old are the members of my audience? C. What offices or titles in the community do my audience members hold? D. Why is the audience there to listen to my speech?
@kittymeow
I'm not sure about this one but I'm pretty sure B is one of the correct answers :)
Your purpose of the speech is to basically try to attract the audience and try to make sure that you are making sure that they understand your point. As you are giving a speech, you want to know on what you are talking about (the purpose). You want to understand what position your audience is in. You want to put yourself in their shoes. Their roles, age, and even the time of your speech doesn't matter.
You didn't tag me? I feel offended >:[ lol just kidding. --- @calculusxy is right, all you really need to consider is how to capture the audience's attention. So your answer is D) Why is the audience there to listen to my speech?
@kittymeow I agree.
@kittiwitti1 Not sure I can agree with that. There's an old saying, Know your audience.
@DonaldRoyMiller Well, I'm just agreeing with @calculusxy ...
Myself, since this has turned into a discussion, I think it's all of them except A. This is especially true if you're making a speech to persuade people.
