Parallel slopes are equal. So use the (2,13) and (-4,-11) and find the slope using the slope formula. \[m = \frac{ y_2-y_1 }{ x_2-x_1 }\]
well... what's the slope of the line that passes through (2, 13) and (−4, −11) ?
\[m = \frac{ 13 + 11 }{ -4 - 2} ?\]
no. y2 - y1 ------- x2 - x1
\[m = \frac{ -11-13 }{ -4 - 2 } = \]

oh right so -11 - 13 = -24 -4 - 2 = -6 -24 ---- -6
yes you can simplify it further
4
Correct, your slope is 4 or 4/1.
ok thank you!
