Please help, any kind is great!(: A series circuit has 4 resistors. The current through 1 resistor is 810 mA. Amount of current passing through the power source??

OpenStudy (doc.brown):

810mA Resistors resist electrons coming in as well as going out. Along one path they all travel at the same speed.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Since there are 4 resistors and each are probably 810 mA, should the current amount be 810 mA x 4? @doc.brown

OpenStudy (doc.brown):

An amp is a buttload of electrons per second. It's a rate. Think meters per second. You may be thinking about resistance as the more resistance you add, the more the electrons slow down.

Haha, the visual actually made it much better to understand. Thanks so much!

It's a cartoon in my head.
