Choose the point-slope form of the equation below that represents the line that passes through the point (6, −3) and has a slope of one half. y − 6 = one half(x + 3) y = one halfx − 6 y + 3 = one half(x − 6) x − 2y = 12

A The point-slope formula is: y-y1=m(x-x1) All you have to do is plug in the numbers you were given.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Since the -3 is well... negative. When you plug it in it becomes (x--3) which creates a double negative = positive. That is why you are adding the three. Get it?
