\[\frac{ -7x+10y }{ 4x } - \frac{ 7x-5y }{ 4x }\] Since the denominators are the same, you can subtract these just as you would any other fractions. Subtract like terms (-7x+10y-7x+5y), then keep the same denominator.

I did not see your post before I posted mine. Since the negative sign in the first fraction is for all the numbers, not just the 7x, make sure you distribute it as well.
