OpenStudy (anonymous):

why is high cholesterol bad for your cells

OpenStudy (ookawaiioo):

its a steroids that acts on the transcriptional level of the cell, too much may effect the cell ability to achieve its needs.

OpenStudy (zale101):

In osmosis, red blood cells will loose water from the inside which causes the cell to shrink. When this happens it's called Hypertonic.

OpenStudy (zale101):

The water right now had moved out of the cells which cause the cells to shrink and clumped into one another. The cells right now become smaller because there's a concentration of NaCI. The water is transported out from the cell and this caused the solute concentration inside the cell to lower. When someone consumes too much salt (NaCl) that means the they have high cholesterol.
