does your equation look something like this: \[ \large 100 = [40 \sqrt {3x-1}] \lim_{1 \rightarrow k} \]

hey, cheers for the help but i asked another mate and got the answer. you sub in k as x into the equation and then sub in 1 as x into the equation and subtract the k one from the 1 one, and then solve for k. thank you though :)
