From your question, it seems that you have an object with an unknown weight. Is that correct?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (gatorgirl):

Sorry, math is not my strong point and I'd probably get it wrong for you. But I hope that @BTaylor ends up helping you. :) Btw, Your profile pic is very cute. ;)

OpenStudy (btaylor):

If its weight is 1, it will balance with the 1 kg weight. If its weight is 2, it and the 1 kg weight will balance with the 3 kg weight. If its weight is 3, it will balance with the 3 kg weight. If its weight is 4, it will balance with the 1 and 3 kg weights. If its weight is 5, it and the 1 kg weight will balance with the 6 kg weight. If its weight is 6, it will balance with the 6 kg weight. If its weight is 7, it will balance with the 6 and 1 kg weights. If its weight is 8, it and the 1 kg weight will balance with the 6 and 3 kg weights. If its weight is 9, it will balance with the 6 and 3 kg weights. If its weight is 10, it will balance with the 6, 3, and 1 kg weights. Does this make sense?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes it does thanks for your help

OpenStudy (btaylor):
