I missed this one too.. But I have to insert it. It's a domain question.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

These are the answer choices: A) x ≥ -1, x ≠ 6 B) All real numbers except -4 and 6 C) All real numbers D) x ≥ 0

OpenStudy (john_es):

You have the same problem as before in the numerator. \[x+1\geq0\]In the denominator, is a little different. You must remember that if you have \[\frac{P(x)}{Q(x)}\]The points that are not included in the domain are those x that makes Q(x)=0. So you must eliminate from the domain the points x=-4 and x=6. The numerator tells you that you must select \[x\geq-1\] With these statements try to find the correct answer.

OpenStudy (john_es):

Have you chosen some answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You're confusing me with the p's and q's. Hang on. I'll catch on in a minute. I just started Pre-Cal Honors. :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have no idea. Can you dumb it down a bit? I'm awful at reading things off of a screen and understanding them. Why I'm homeschooled? No idea..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, I don't think it can be A. B?

OpenStudy (john_es):

Well, with the statements I made, only can be A, that fulfill the two requirements we made.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Poop..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OH! I get it. I was looking at the choice incorrectly. It says x is greater than or equal to one.. I don't knw why I thought it said something else.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks again!

OpenStudy (john_es):

;)
