q+12-2(q-22)>0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

where u stuck at?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the whole thing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

k, so first distribute the 2 in this part, "2(q-22)" what do you get?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2q 20

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2q-(2)*22 2q-44 now we have q + 12 + 2q - 44 > 0 combine like terms now

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3q ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the 3q is right, but what about the rest of the equation? 3q + 12 - 44 >0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do i put a number on both sides ? or no like 12 under 12 and 14 under 12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

mmm.... I think you are second guessing you self! ^_^ just do 12-44 = -32 so we now have 3q - 32 > 0 next, 'isolate' the q term by moving the -32 to the same side as the 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you so much it was right .

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep ^_^
