Need help with proofs! will give medal!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

need someone to check my work and see if im understanding this right. thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think it would be the last coice. Becasue you've already said that 3 is congruent to 7, and that 4 is congruent to 8. You are trying to prove that 3 is congruent to 6, and 4 to 5. So next if you say that 7 is congruent to 6, and 8 to 5, then you can take the next step to prove, well the proof. because if 3 is the same as 7, and seven is the same as 6, then aren't 3 and six the same? :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*choice *because

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3 and 7 and 4 and 8 are parallel. I circled the one I thought was right. I was wrong?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I just think it would be the last one. I'm not an expert, just have already had this class. D seems more logical, yes. B is kind of.. not needed.. to complete this proof?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks. this stuff makes my head spin :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you help me with another one?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Don't over think it. You need to prove angle 3 is the same as angle 6. By proving that angle 3 is the same as angle 7, and then proving that angle 7 is the same as angle 6, then you've automatically said that 3 and 6 are the same. Got it? I always hated proofs. I mean, we already know the correct answer, we just have to prove it. If I already know the answer, why do I care. Right? (:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sure. Throw it at me. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol still from your post

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you show me the figure, too?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no :/ i don't have it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i guess i need the figure to prove it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Beside the given in parenthesis, it says, (figure). It looks like you can click on it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no these are old that i had gotten wrong and needed to go back and redo. Thanks for you help though. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah, I think I would need to see the proof. But hang on.. Let me think harder. :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just a guess, I'd probably say the third one. But I have no idea, becsue I can't see the figure. :/ Sorry, hun.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it's ok I appreciate the help.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No problem. God bless you! c:
