Sorry its so messy I'm still trying to get the hang of how to draw on my laptop lol.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are those angles congruent or equal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

congruent...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

equal = congruent but we refer to them in a figure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's what I was just thinking.. But I already know that. I just need help on how to solve for x..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well find the value of x*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok, here it goes since the triangles are congruent to each other that means that their sides are congruent as well, so one side equals to the other side thus 12 = 2x -10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok and then after that I'd subtract 12 from 10.. correct?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in order to solve it you need to add 10 to both sides

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh okay lol so the answer would be x= 11 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you! can I get your help on a few more? if you have time to help me though.. I really wanna learn how to do this.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok
