why is a diploid number always even?
i don't feel like explaining so i will give answer no
Every person has two genes that will determine their blood type. This is called a genotype. They receive one of those genes from their mother and one of those genes from their father. Genotype.................Phenotype AA.............................A blood AO............................A blood BB............................B blood BO............................B blood AB.............................AB blood (co dominant) OO............................O blood A blood and B blood will ALWAYS be dominant over O blood. So, if both of your parents have O blood, then they HAVE to have the OO combination. Your mother will have to give you an "O" and your father will also have to give you an "O" (it's the only letter then can pass down to you). Because you are getting two "O"s you will have the OO combination, or O blood type.
