When working with scatterplots and the dots line up on a graph, but more in a curvy line, this would be an example of which model?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a. linear model c. outlier model b. quadratic or exponential model d. no correlation model

Hold on.....

The dots are connected, so then it /should/ be no quadratic or exponential. If it were linear, it would flow in one straight line. If it was quadratic or exponential, it would curve upward (or downward depending). Do you have a picture or an equation that could help?

Sorry for the delays, i'm helping with dinner.

quadratic or exponential was right! thanks alot!

No problem! XD
