How do I write the title of a book? Do I put "..." or just Capitalize the title or...? The sentence is: The trailer of The Boy in the Striped Pajamas is more focused on the move to Out-With rather than his friendship with the boy across the fence. Is this correct? Title of book: The Boy in the Striped Pajamas
From Perdue OWL: Italicize or underline the titles of longer works such as books, edited collections, movies, television series, documentaries, or albums. Put quotation marks around the titles of shorter works such as journal articles, articles from edited collections, television series episodes, and song titles: "Multimedia Narration: Constructing Possible Worlds"; "The One Where Chandler Can't Cry." So I would italicize it and capitalize it the way you already have.
@caroline1 I cant underline it or italicize it, so would putting quotations be acceptable? The trailer of "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas" is more focused on the move to Out-With rather than his friendship with the boy across the fence. <--- is the correct?
If you can't underline or italicize, then yes, that's what I would do. That way the quotation marks set it apart from the rest of the text :)
