Can anyone tell me if this proof is SAS??? PLEASE!

OpenStudy (snuggielad):

Well, lets see it.

OpenStudy (kc_kennylau):

refer to the reasons of (2) and (3): angle bisector (that mean 2 As) refer to reason (4), clearly it's referring to a side (S) that means it's either SAA, ASA or AAS.

OpenStudy (kc_kennylau):

refer to the choices, AAS

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I thought it was ASA but I got that wrong

OpenStudy (kc_kennylau):

wait

OpenStudy (kc_kennylau):

there is no choice for ASA lol

OpenStudy (kc_kennylau):

a much better way would be drawing them out

OpenStudy (kc_kennylau):

oh you provided the diagram

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Im leaning towards SAS but this stuff is so confussing as soon as i think I get it I figure out im clueless

OpenStudy (kc_kennylau):

oh maybe in his mind AAS is just the same as ASA. (interchangeable i think) NB: JUST I THINK

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I didn't learn about AAS or SSS is AAS the same as ASA?

OpenStudy (kc_kennylau):

i really don't know sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's ok thanks for trying

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think SAS defined is angles that are congruent are formed by the corresponding sides of the triangle that are congruent.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@SnuggieLad @Cupcakescankill any ideas?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay don't quote me but I did geometry last year and I THINK it is SAS. Especially since there are lines on the sides of the triangle to show congruency. My backing comes from: http://www.mathwarehouse.com/geometry/congruent_triangles/side-angle-side-postulate.php

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is something wrong with open study again? can't fan or give medals today. :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yup, everything is red :P. Its fine though I don't need a medal I'm not sure if that's the right answer.

OpenStudy (kc_kennylau):

oh yes sorry above is right

OpenStudy (kc_kennylau):

i'm so bad at geometry :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

why is geometry harder than algebra i thought this stuff was going to get easier my brain doesn't work like this :P
