Does anyone know what page I could find the Triangular Trade on in my World History Modern Times book?
I don't know where you could find it specifically in your book. However you could check the index for Triangular Trade. If you can't find it I can try to find a picture of it for you or I can describe it to you.
I'm taking a Unit test and I need to "Describe the pattern of the Triangular Trade that developed in the 1500's." If you could Describe it a little bit that would be helpful. :)
I will also look in the Index for it.
I'm sorry, Open Study has been really glitchy lately. Not giving me notifications. But let me go grab my book for you.
So my textbook is actually a college one so nevermind that. Here is the definition off of an APUSH flash card. Triangular Trade-- The backbone of New England's economy during the colonial period. Ships from New England sailed first to Africa, exchanging New England rum for slaves. The slaves were shipped from Africa to the Caribbean (this was known as the Middle Passage, when many slaves died on the ships). In the Caribbean, the slaves were traded for sugar and molasses. Then the ships returned to New England, where the molasses were used to make rum.
Wait, so in that case that picture right that is irrelevant. ^ Because the definition involves New England. So here, use this instead.
A triangular trade was envolves when 3 regions export commodies which were not required in the major region from its import come. The graet known triangular trade is slave trade between America, Carribean (or Africa) and Europe.
