would someone help me get caught up in my algebra homework?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if youre willing to do the work with help im sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Connections Academy?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

whats the topic??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have like 5 quizzes that im about to do ill try to work as far as i can and get help were i dont understand

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

I'll try also

OpenStudy (anonymous):

mkay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for the domain i know to make it equal yo zero just how to isolate it idk

OpenStudy (anonymous):

domain of what? do you know what the domain means?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

looks like your going to set the denominator equal to zero to get the restrictions on the domain

OpenStudy (anonymous):

unless i say : 6m^3 = 0 and 6 n ^2 = 0 m = -6 n = -6 this is were im lost, there does not seem to be a domain, and usialy the domain would be the x axis on the graph

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think its "b"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

since the whole denominator is multiplied you have something painfully obvious there without even doing math. then just plug in the others to see if they will equal to 0.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im lost on what you are saying because they would not equal zero from how its being shown

OpenStudy (anonymous):

at 6m^5*n^2 if you plug 0 in you get 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

plug in zero for the variables? they showed it as = 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh 0 / 6 = 0 thus m and n = 0?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

to make 2 numbers to multiply to equal 0 one of them has to be zero, don't forget to check c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i see what you mean: 6 x (6x6x6x6x6) x 0 = 0 right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

on this one it should be "c" check me?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@lonnie455rich i should be right on this one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its really b and c so its a toss up. wolfram shows it to be b http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=domain+%28m%5E2%2B4m-5%29%2F%286m%5E5N%5E2%29
