Please explain how a polynomial with a GCF in all of the terms is factored differently from one without. Include an example in your explanation, HELP.

a(x^2) + a(b)(x) + a(c) all the factors have a GCF of 'a' so you can factor a out and have a(x^2 + bx +c) using numbers 2x^2 + 6x +12 = 2(x^2 + 3 + 6) the resulting polynomial has the GCF of 2 factored out, is this what you are asking?
