Solve it just like you would a regular equation. These one's with only one step are the simple ones. How would you start z-1=3?

Yup, yup, yup. When you get to the more complex ones, there will be new things. Like if you divide by a negative number, the < changes direction. But this one is just a simple one. :)

Noo.... I lied. You shouldn't have subtracted the 1, you should have added it. You want to get it to move from one side to the other, so if it is a -1 on one side, you +1 to even it out, and you would get z<4.
