How would not having enough water molecules affect the light-dependent reaction in photosynthesis?
I don't know the exact answer, but this website might just have what you're looking for http://www.biotopics.co.uk/a2/light-dependent_reactions.html What i think based on the site, is that with less water there will be higher loss, which makes less production.
Without water, the light-dependent reactions would not have a supply of high energy electrons. So without water, or not enough of it, photosynthesis would not be able to preform as well, or would stop completely
This is the simplest and best explanation. http://www.ehow.com/info_10036843_describe-happens-during-light-dependent-reactions-photosynthesis.html I figured out the answer from this. Hope it helps you too.
