I need some help with this equation please. (: 4 – (3y + 7) + 8y = 2y + 3(8 – y)
Distribute the negative on the left side. The -(3y+7)
And how would I do that?
U pretty much just change the sign. So for example, if I had -(7x+9) It'll become -7-9
hi nikato can you help me with this Graph the following linear system to determine the number of solutions. y equals negative three x plus six, six x plus two y equals twelve zero 1 2 infinitely many
Okay so it would become -3-7. But why wouldn't it be -3y-7?
She accidentally left out the variable. That would stay. c:
Oh, it should b -3y-7. I'm sorry for the confusion. I just forgot to type that. Ok, I can u distribute the 3 on the fright side
@daianalove33141 do u have a post for it? I don't want to be spamming here
wat do u mean??? im new here so i dont know how to do this
Oh it's okay ^_^ So would would I just add 3y to both sides of the equation to isolate the variable on one side?
Or umm is that not what you do?..
After you distribute, you should get 4-3y-7+8y=2y+24-y. Then you add like terms. After that, you just need to get all the numbers on one side, and the variable on the other.
Okay thank you very much, both of you! (:
No problem, hun. C: God bless you!
can u help me batman plzzz
