Resolved, thank you very much.
correct what error ?
y <= 1/3x - 2 y intercept = -2 x intercept can be found by subbing in 0 for y 0 <= 1/3x - 2 -1/3x = -2 x = -2/(-1/3) x = -2 * -3/1 = 6 shading should be under the line because it is less then. Line should be solid because it has an equal sign. FOUND AN ERROR---the line is dashed...it should be solid. It is graphed correctly except for the dashed line. -2y < x + 10 y > -1/2x - 5 y intercept is -5 x intercept is -10 shading should be above the line (which it is) and line should be DASHED, which it is not. I will pick a point (0,-3) now we check... y <= 1/3x - 2 -3 <= 1/3(0) - 2 -3 <= -2 (correct) -2y < x + 10 -2(-3) < 10 6 < 10 (correct) The only errors I am finding is the lines.
y <= 1/3x - 2 -- line should be solid (it is not) -2y < x + 10 -- line should be dashed (it is not)
the shading doesn't really madder its just a shade.. i would think
the dark shading is the solution of both of the inequalities
yes..the shading is correct...the lines are not, as far as being solid and dashed
YW :)
